Constellation is an art event mixing ambiant music and art installation (video, sculpture ....) to celebrate the new moon night. New Moon Night ( 新月) is a moment to make new decision , changement and new beginning . For this edition will act ieva, Nobuto Suda and Hitoshires. An installation , "theatre of shadow" is presented by armel barraud in the Garden Place. You will also make your decision with the "daruma moon" designed by Armel.

It will at A tent Cafe ( 5 mins of Demachinayagi Station) , outdoor, on 10th of August 2010 @ 20h00 There will be headphones there , but you can also bring yours if you prefer (jack 6.5 mm)

Hitoshires

aka Sasagu Ota was born in Shizuoka and currently living in Kyoto. He creates hushed landscape Under the nickname of Hitoshires which means secretly or inwardly.

Nobuto Suda

(b.1985.11), uses layers of guitar,Field Recording,sampling to create ambient/drone. Nobuto is from Fushimi in Kyoto, Japan edited by Tobira Records.

Armel Barraud
Actually, artist in residency @ the Villa Kujoyama, Armel is a designer artist metal thread and spindle lace drawings She studied art at the School of Applied Arts in Paris and continued studying in this field at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris where she specialized in animated films. She focused her artistic research on making fields and stitches. Armel got in touch with craftsmen and learned from them the technique of spindle lace. She knew this technique would help her in her future work. She came back enriched by this unique and great experience shared with lace-craftsmen (in fact, women). These lace-craftsmen transmitted their skills to her. Armel was conscious of acquiring a unique heritage in the technique she learned. She understands the need to keep and preserve this heritage for the future. She will present a tiny "theatre of shadow" for that night.
